Today's question is, why do we question? I thought to myself, when we are seeking truth, why do we ask all these questions that our higher self probably already knows all the answers to? Then it dawned on me, (in the form of a question of course lol) could all this questioning be the ego's way of grasping at survival?
Sure, we can take ourselves further and further down the rabbit hole, contemplating the spiritual realm, the universe, the cosmos and all the other things that come up during our transition to enlightenment; but all the while, deep down inside, the higher self knows all the answers. In fact it is the answer, it is truth.
So is it possible, that when we do this, we are either indulging our thinking minds, or are we just slaves to our ego's desperate attempt at self preservation?
The death of the egoic self can be scary, perhaps if we were to stop all the questioning and fully allow ourselves to let go, then we would be amazed at all of the answers that will be made known to us, and we could naturally rise to a higher state of consciousness, without all the who, what, where, when, how and WHY.
